Dalam bulan ini sepertinya rencana membangun Tech Network akan tertunda karena spesifikasi dan environment dari server hosting yang baru dibeli belum jelas sehingga mempersulit untuk keperluan codingnya. Beberapa script nggak jalan, belum lagi ada permasalahan di domain registrant transfer.

Rencananya Tech Network akan mencakup beberapa topik seputar internet software, cellphone, dan notebook yang akan dibagi atas beberapa domain lama dan baru. Beberapa topik pendukung akan dibangun adalah Indonesia mapping dengan menggunakan fasilitas Google Map (masih menunggu persetujuan penggunaan domain dari Depkominfo), myspace layout (topik basi) dan automotive (lagi digodok).

Diminta doanya… Amiiiin……….

In a few days I will be in Medan, the capital city of North Sumatra province, Indonesia. A nice, cute, smart and beautiful women has attracted me and brought this heart back to that city again. And for that, we have to build a long distance relationship, Yogyakarta - Medan.

I met this girl when I’m in Medan on January to visit my sister, her room is next to my sister’s. On our first met, I didn’t feel anything, we just say “hi” and shake hands and make some intro, that’s all. But when I heading back to Yogyakarta, I felt something left behind, felt like I missed something. Then I try to made a contact with her by SMS and some phone call.
It’s good that she welcome me, and the we started to chit chat, throw jokes, etc. We discuss everything, everyday.. till… we began to express our emotion. I’m sure that everybody know about Google Adsense (or maybe you’re a pure internet visitor ), it’s reported that they loses about $1 billion US a year to “click fraud” or other invalid click-throughs on its ad service.

Kerugian sebesar itu dilaporkan terjadi dari 10% dari total klik, yang akhirnya memaksa Google harus mengembalikan uang advertisernya yang masuk lewat program Adwords mereka.
Tapi apakah Google merugi? Tentu tidak, kan uang yang dikembalikan adalah memang bukan uang mereka

Ini kasus menarik yang melibatkan Google si raksasa internet dengan salah satu perusahaan IT nya China yang berpusat di Beijing, ISM Internet Technology Development Co. Ltd. Domain yang diperebutkan adalah Gmail, dengan ekstensi dot CN. Usaha Google untuk mendapatkan domain ini telah dimulai sejak tahun 2004, dengan mencoba mengakuisisi kepemilikan Gmail.cn tersebut, tapi berakhir tanpa hasil.

Yang menarik dari kasus ini adalah sikap ngototnya Google untuk mendapatkan domain tersebut, apa sebab?
China memang dikenal dengan pertumbuhan user internet tertinggi saat ini di dunia dan Google merasa peluang pasar yang terbuka besar bagi mereka untuk merebut pasar tersebut untuk lebih melebarkan layanan service mereka, terutama dengan layanan email gratis Gmail nya.

Bagi yang masih bingung dengan cara simpel untuk mengupgrade Wordpress blogging software ke latest available version, dapat mencoba cara mudah berikut:

1. Upload Wordpress versi terbaru yang dapat anda download di Wordpress.org dan replace semua file WP yang ada dalam root directory instalasi WP anda, kecuali file wp-config.php.

2. Lalu masuk ke http://DomainWordpressAnda/wp-admin/upgrade.php

Voila.. done

If you use this WordPress 2.1.1 version, you should upgrade it to the recent stable version Wordpress 2.1.2. Reported by Wordpress team that :

It was determined that a cracker had gained user-level access to one of the servers that powers wordpress.org, and had used that access to modify the download file. We have locked down that server for further forensics, but at this time it appears that the 2.1.1 download was the only thing touched by the attack. They modified two files in WP to include code that would allow for remote PHP execution.

Sayangnya yang ngeblog disitu ternyata presiden gadungan, tapi kreatif, patut diacungi jempol keberaniannya mengusik pasal karet penghinaan presiden, walaupun kayaknya udah dicabut Mahkamah Konstitusi, seingatku
Kita hargai keberanian si pembuat blog yang akan tetap stay anonymous pastinya.
