Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_attachment_icon()
I got this error when I try to upload an attachment image on one of my Wordpress blog :
Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_attachment_icon() in /public_html/mywordpressdomain.com/wp-admin/inline-uploading.php on line 263
This wordpress blog installed on WP 2.0.3 version, and I assumed that this error could be happen to all 2.0.x version.
I tried to find the get_attachment_icon function on wp-admin/admin-functions.php file and found that the function not support the non image extensions to be uploaded on the uploading file directory (wp-content/uploads).
To solve the problem, just go to your uploaded file directory (default is wp-content/uploads) and try find the non image file extension there (ex: html. php, etc). And then erase them.
Actually this is not a Wordpress bug, but WP didn’t escape the functions anyway.
